All audio, screen, and video processing, including transcription, speaker segmentation, and timing, is performed entirely on your device. We do not upload or store your media files or transcriptions on our servers.

2. Diagnostic and Error Reporting

To improve the app’s performance and user experience, we may collect limited diagnostic information such as:

• Crash reports
• Error logs
• Device type and operating system version

This data does not contain personal or audio content and is used solely to maintain and improve the application.

3. Use of Third-Party Tools

Hyllo uses the open-source tool yt-dlp to help users download audio/video content from public sources.

We do not control the sources accessed by users, and we do not monitor or store content downloaded through this tool.

4. Audio and Screen Recording

Hyllo allows users to record audio and/or screen content on their device. All recordings are stored locally and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not have access to your recordings.

You are responsible for complying with any legal requirements when recording conversations or screen activity, including obtaining necessary consent from all parties involved.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal rights to access, download, or process any media content using Hyllo. This includes content from platforms like YouTube, Bilibili, and others.

We do not encourage or support unauthorized downloading, recording, or processing of copyrighted, restricted, or DRM-protected content. You must ensure your use complies with applicable laws and the source platform's terms of service.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, or rent any user content or personal data to third parties, except when:

• Required by law or legal process
• Necessary to respond to valid requests by public authorities
• Necessary to protect our rights or investigate potential violations

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect any technical information we collect, including encryption and access controls. Since no data transmission is 100% secure, we recommend keeping your system updated and protected.

8. Children’s Privacy

Hyllo is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
